YOURNEWS: AURORA WOMAN IS CROWNED MS COLORADO SENIOR AMERICA 2012

On June 23rd, in the Performing Arts Theater at Pinnacle Charter School, Debbie Buczkowski of Aurora won the title of Ms. Colorado Senior America. She will represent Colorado at the Ms. Senior America Pageant in October in Atlantic City.  The Ms. Senior America Pageant will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year and will be quite an exciting event for our new queen!

Contestants are judged in four categories: model an evening gown, recite a thirty-five second “philosophy of life”, perform a talent, and interview with the judges.

The Ms. Senior America Pageant is the world’s first and foremost pageant to emphasize and give honor to women who have reached the “age of elegance”(sixty-plus). It is a search for the gracious lady who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all senior Americans. The pageant is a lovely venue for showcasing women who present a positive image of aging with their enthusiasm and active involvement in life.
