AURORA | Scientists are worried a new commuter train line being built in Aurora could jar their laboratory equipment and derail life-saving experiments.
Some instruments at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are so sensitive they measure time in nanoseconds and some experiments may be delayed.
According to the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/kwns9zu ), university officials are asking RTD to move the line about a half-mile to the north. The line is scheduled to open in 2016.
RTD officials say they are considering moving the rail line.
