Police, FBI looking for bank robber

The FBI and Aurora police are looking for a bank robber who held up an Aurora bank last month.

According to a statement from the FBI, the man walked into the CoreFirst Bank & Trust at 18730 E. Hampden Ave. on July 25 and showed the teller a note demanding money. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The FBI described the suspect as a white male, 45 to 50 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin build and gray hair.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171. Callers can also remain anonymous and earn up $2,000 by calling CRIMESTOPPERS at 720-913-STOP.
