AURORA | A coalition collecting contributions for victims of the shootings at an Aurora theater last month is gearing up to distribute the money.
Aurora spokeswoman Kim Stuart says the group expects to identify who will lead the group in the near future and determine how the money will be spent.
The Aurora Victim Relief Fund has collected more than $5 million to help the victims. However, it has only distributed $450,000, according to the Community First Foundation website.
Family members of the victims plan to go public Tuesday about issues they say need to be discussed, but they refused to provide details in advance.
