Girls Lacrosse

AURORA | Regis Jesuit athletic director John Koslosky announced the hire of a well-known name as the school’s new girls lacrosse coach Friday. After several years under the venerable Billy Corbett, the school chose to go a different direction after the 2017 season and that direction ended up being Kathryn Ames, a former head coach at Cherry Creek and currently a counselor in the Regis Jesuit Boys Division.

Although it was a somewhat quiet postseason for Aurora’s girls lacrosse team, the 2017 season saw continued growth in talent across the city’s seven programs. The 2017 Aurora Sentinel All-Aurora Girls Lacrosse team is selected by the Sentinel in conjunction with balloting of city coaches, reflects that development with six teams landing at least one selection.
