LITTLETON | Eaglecrest’s Davis Bryant has picked up where he left off last season in Centennial League boys golf. For the second straight season, the junior carded a 68 in the second league tournament of the season and took the lead in the chase to defend the league championship he won last season.
Following one season that went well in the other direction, the Regis Jesuit boys golf team got back on its regular track last season.
COMMERCE CITY | The Vista PEAK boys golf team continues to find the East Metro Athletic Conference to its liking. The Bison moved from the Colorado 7 to their new conference prior to this season and promptly won the first South Division minor tournament by 23 strokes, then followed that up with a second place performance at Wednesday’s opening major at Buffalo Run Golf Course.

COMMERCE CITY | While not particularly outstanding from a team standpoint, Tuesday’s opener of the Centennial League boys golf season saw some individuals from Aurora programs get off to a strong strong. Defending league individual champion Davis Bryant of Eaglecrest and Grandview senior Danny Taggart finished in a tie for second place by shooting 70 at Buffalo Run Golf Course, one stroke off the pace set by Mullen’s Jay Yano.
